 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. ~Hebrews 12:2

The Ascension of Our Lord  is celebrated on the 40th day after Pascha throughout the entire Christian world and in the U.S. in the ecclesiastical provinces of Boston, Hartford, New York, Newark, Philadelphia, and the state of Nebraska. For all other Catholics in the U.S. the Solemnity has been moved to the following Sunday.
